DESCRIPTION:We are once again thrilled to partner with the National LGBTQ+ & Allied Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) for the NGLCC California Certification Growth Initiative (CCGI) to support LGBTQ+ businesses accessing procurement opportunities\n\nacross our state.\n\n\n\nThe NGLCC California Certification Growth Initiative is a targeted effort to boost the number of certified LGBT Business Enterprises (LGBTBEs). This initiative helps businesses access corporate contracting\, public utility opportunities and financial grants. \n\n \n\nYou are invited to attend a virtual session focused on helping California-based suppliers better understand\, access\, and compete for opportunities with California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) regulated utility companies.\n\n \n\nCPUC-regulated utilities alone spend more than $40 billion each year on goods and services and now have a 1.5% procurement goal for LGBTQ+ owned businesses\, representing roughly $650+ million in opportunity annually.\n\n\n\nYet much of that spend remains untapped simply because too few businesses are certified and visible in supplier pipelines.
