The San Diego premiere of an enthralling and funny new work by Kate Douglas, THE APIARY is a funny and thrilling story set in a synthetic honeybee laboratory twenty years in the future. THE APIARY follows four women tasked with keeping the last surviving colonies alive until a shocking discovery inside the hive turns their work, their loyalties, and their futures upside down. The New York Times named it a Critic’s Pick calling it a “bright, strange and mesmerizing marvel”.
